Wisconsin Landscapes

As a native of Wisconsin I`m often trying to find locations to shoot landscape. Most every part of the state offers some great scenery and opportunities for great shots. I`ve only scratched the surface on finding locations for myself, but if you visit Wisconsin this website will give you some great locations throughout the state. http://www.wisconsinphotoguide.com/ The above image is of Amnicon Falls in Amnicon State Park in Norther Wisconsin that I shot last summer. Beautiful area with easy access to the river and falls. Northern Wisconsin offers some great waterfall spots and Big Manitou Falls in Pattison State Park is a site to see at 165 ft high. Many lakes and rivers around the state that offer some great scenery as well. To many to list, but that website will give you a great rundown.

If you love to photograph wildlife then you can`t go wrong either with exploring the state. Horicon Marsh, the largest freshwater cattail marsh in the United States, is loaded with all sorts of species of winged wildlife. You may even be able to find black bear and wolves in parts of the state and an elk herd in the Clam Lake area. So if you make your way through Wisconsin be sure to find some great spots and get some incredible images. I`m always on the hunt for something new not only here, but countrywide. That`s one of my favorite topics is location shooting and will be sure to keep the locations coming. Thank you!
